  1. I get your point, but I definitely don't agree with it. This game is at its core fairly sexually suggestive, containing cosmetic items like swimming suits and skimpy school uniforms, with NPCs having some rather unproportional features (Soha, Juwol, Zulia, ...), and a character creator capable of pretty much anything. This sort of distinct visual style is one of Blade & Soul's selling points, so I doubt they'd change it because someone finds it a bit distasteful. As for the highlight of the crotch during the Windstride animation, considering the visual effect is a bright green emanating from the character's feet where you're standing, it does make sense to me that it's reflected on your character. The green marks created around you as your character is preparing to Windstride even have a light emanating from them, so why wouldn't the character be highlighted?
  2. Yes, very big issue indeed. I hope this takes priority over the third class specialization, the engine transition, and all ingame content on its way. /s
  3. The question mark feature in the Character Info (F2) contains a typo The Dungeon In Progress feature refers to Sandstorm Temple as "A Shrine in the Sand" This is also seen as you enter the dungeon. Opening the Darkstorm Necklace Chest grants "Blade Dancer's Raven Necklace Chest" Whether this is unique to the Blade Dancer chest is unknown to me.
  4. Even if you wouldn’t bring as good news as you did, just having someone from your team mention the issues we’ve been facing means incredibly much. Thanks!
  5. Since account-bound upgrade materials were introduced in Blade & Soul 3.0 - Secrets of the Stratus, obtaining the needed items to upgrade your gear has been heavily locked behind dungeons and daily quests in the form of Daily Challenge. I can't help but think that's a major part of the reason why people take extended breaks or outright quit the game. Everyone knows Blade & Soul have some intense grind in the game, and although that can be fine, I think it's a lot less unforgivable when there's a constant need to log in each and every single day to keep your equipment on a level enough to participate in all of the game's content. The global magazine "PC Gamer" talks about this very issue in certain games here. To alleviate that, I think it would be great if Soulstone Crystals, Sacred Crystals, Moonstone Crystals, and Elysian Crystals would be made more available in open-world content with repetitive quests and no RNG. I previously made a post about that where I narrowed the options down to just Moon Refuge (which I still think would be the best place to implement this), but at this point, I'd take anything. If I feel like taking two days off playing Blade & Soul and not having the constant pressure of missing out on my daily quests, I'd be incredibly happy having the option to play for more hours and simply grind materials and make up for the lost time. Additionally, by allowing for more open-world content, players would stay in parties for longer than in dungeons and thus might encourage more communication between players - something this game desperately needs.
  6. Upon spawning Frozen Asura in the Hongmoon Training Room, the message popup refers to the boss as "Gelid Warlord" Writhe's tooltip (useable during Binding Vines in the Scarlet Empress encounter) refers to Binding Vines as "Death Flower Bind" Both Grand Celestial Soul Shield Piece 7/8 as well as the cosmetic items Grand Celestial, Grand Celestial Adornment, and Grand Celestial Cowl refers to Grand Celestial Emperor as "Grand Celestial King" Ebondrake Lair and Ebondrake Vault's World Map refers to Dasari Palace Gardens as "Skybreak Palace Gardens"
  7. That's understandable. It's good to hear you're careful with giving out false promises, having been treated to that in other MMORPGs. Thanks for the response!
  8. I know you mentioned Bless Online having the same issue, but I'm curious as to if you're using any third-party programs to launch Blade & Soul. Some of them offer features to automatically clean your memory within certain time intervals to avoid crashes. Maybe that's a reason for your frame rate issues?
  9. Aside from complaints regarding the engine transition, for upcoming producer's letters, it would be nice if you could detail exactly what kind of content is on the horizon. Based on older updates, I'm expecting Botany Center and Titan Chamber to be next either this month or the next, followed by Archer (in September, as you said) together with Cathedra Cliffs. I understand if you don't want to mention the specific item drops as that's for later articles, but some very brief lore might get us more excited for what's coming. :)
  10. Happy to help, Mitra! Thank you as well for continuing to report my posts further. Upon Scarlet Empress's 20% phase initiation, the message "The Scarlet Empress's Crimson Energy grows" is missing a blank space. Upon Dread Prince Sobu losing its target during the phase causing a Berserk Rage, the message is missing a blank space. The Dragon Pulse leading to Scarlet Empress in Scarlet Conservatory - 3F refers to the boss as Scarlet Queen. When viewing the Dungeon Progress in the Character Status (P) menu, Graft Titan has an added The in its name. The actual name is only Graft Titan. In the Hongmoon Training Room (F12), The Peacekeeper has the incorrect name Barrier Keeper. In the Hongmoon Training Room, Nightfall Sanctuary's Combat instruction is incorrect. Peacekeeper: On the Stance Shift note, it says a Knock Down effect will trigger your stance rather than the boss's. Shield Bearer On the Stance Shift note, it says a Knock Down effect will trigger your stance rather than the boss's. Scorptamaton "Thermal Beam" is not called Thermal Beam, but Fever Transfer. Grand Celestial Emperor Under the Flamewave Eye title, you write about "Submission". In the actual boss encounter, Submission is called "Superior Status". In the Hongmoon Training Room, Brierbane's Combat instruction is incorrect. Under the Decapitate title, it says you need to move backwards to dodge the Decapitate attack. You need to move sideways. In the Hongmoon Training Room, Nacha's Combat instruction speaks of Tether Blade, when the actual name is Blade Edge.
  11. +1 to what Draknalor said. The image you've posted displays each class's current two specialization paths. For example, the Blade Master icon shows Spirit Sword and Singing Blade - not Spectral Blade. From what I've seen from a Korean article which may or not be presented in chronological order, next up will be the Summoner and the Force Master. As with the Empyrean Shadows update, NCWEST might continue releasing two third class specializations at the same time.
  12. Hello wind BD! Nice to see our rare breed still exists. I definitely agree with most things here. The new fused Wildborne Soul Badge helped smooth our rotation by a lot and made wind BDs way more enjoyable. I've also experienced the same issues on Dread Prince Sobu in Warped Citadel, and I really have no clue what's causing it. At first I believed it was due to being in Spatial Isolation, but I experience the exact same issue when on the outside. It seems like not our passive skill nor the Liberty Soul Badge works properly. I also agree about the issue with Wind Spirits. Changing the Squall effect might not be a great idea. If anything, I say the RNG effect on Rolling Typhoon to regenerate a Wind Spirit should be changed to always happening or by changing Whirling Scourge to generate an additional Wind Spirit over time. Not sure how good the idea of the RNG being removed completely is, haven't really thought it through. As for Simple Mode, I use it as well, and the added Sunder when Rolling Typhoon is unavailable is a lifesaver. My only issue with it is that, well, it just seems like a bad way to design our most high damaging skill, and there's no way to adapt to the Rolling Typhoon's RNG Wind Spirit if you're parsing unless you always do a Sunder inbetween which will end up as a damage loss. The two things I'd disagree about is the Nacha strategy and our damage output. To start with Nacha, even if it's intended for Rolling Typhoon to not remove stacks of Demon Blood, it seems incredibly weird considering there's no issue for Lightning BDs who can use Flicker and Lightning Flash. Having to compromise by using LMB or saving Wind Draw (that's the name for C, right?) to use our own Flicker and Lightning Flash is just meh. As for damage, while I'm far from an expert in Tower of Infinity, I can definitely see Wind BDs being proficient there. M'ao though? Not really. Looking at the current leaderboard right now, pretty much every single Blade Dancer is using Lightning. Maybe that's just because most people prefer Lightning (god knows why they do that), but I'm yet to see any Wind BD reaching one of the top spots.
  13. Update on point #2: You can get an absolute maximum of 4 Rolling Typhoons per second, where as Squall recovers 3 Wind Spirits every second. Unless you get godly RNG and trigger the random effect of Rolling Typhoon recovering a Wind Spirit on use, you're bound to have small yet awkward breaks during the rotation. This has to be changed.
  14. In Warped Citadel, defeating the "trash mobs" present before Kangrim will automatically spawn a Dragon Pulse from the entrance of the dungeon for latecomers to quickly hop into the fight. Same goes for Dread Prince Sobu, where defeating the mini-boss Grimtalon spawns a Dragon Pulse straight to the final boss from Kangrim. This is new for dungeons and is an incredibly nice addition. In some dungeons and most raids, people simply engages the boss and escapes to trigger the Dragon Pulse, but it feels like quite bothersome doing it so often. A change to all dungeons automatically spawning a Dragon Pulse to the boss would be a great change.
  15. Dread Prince Sobu's Judgement: Third Trial status effect description refers to the third trial as the second trial. In the Dread Prince Sobu encounter, Gravity Surge - Stage 3's status effect description refers to Stage 4 rather than 3. Character Info (F2) is yet to provide names for Way of the Spectral Blade and Way of the Iron Fist. Sidenote: the Game Guide's Required Equipment uses an incorrect icon for Transcendent Soul.
  16. Scarlet Conservatory displays the second boss encounter's zone as Garden of Enlightment on the World Map and Floriculture Center on the mini-map.
  17. Doctor Gyojak's two status effects from the attack pattern, Courtesan and Devastation, are misnamed. Courtesan should be Parasitic. Doctor Gyojak's status effect Sowing Target's description says "The Taint Seed will be injected" rather than "The Dark Seed will be injected". The dynamic Quest Lord it Over is missing a quest description. Nightfall Sanctuary Soul Shield 7 and 8's Acquired from tooltip refers to Grand Celestial Emperor as Grand Celestial King. Spinderling's poison debuff in Hollow's Heart is called Poisoned instead of Poison. Debuffs are not meant to be descriptive terms of what you are, but rather what you have. Sealed Raven King's Soul's Aquired from tooltip refers to General Moyun/General Shuna and Raven King as Kosa Skybreak Spire.
  18. Compared to Thundering Blade, Spinning Storm is a bit of a joke. The spec is overdue for some needed damage increases and other QoL improvements. Despite having active Wind Charge and Wind Spirit up, certain occurrences like using Skyward Slash during Squall/Hurricane Slash/Talisman bugs Rolling Typhoon making it unusable. Using another skill in-between will fix the bug. Aransu Mystic Badge's "Squall" has to occur more frequently to keep refreshing Wind Spirits for continuous Rolling Typhoon usage. During Skyward Slash and Whirling Scourge, most often your Wind Spirits run out for a brief moment creating an awkward break when you're supposed to be bursting. GIF showing the issue: https://imgur.com/hFxGw71 Rolling Typhoon can not be used to remove certain stacks that are meant to be removed by using your abilities. An example is Brood Chamber's Nacha encounter, where the stacks "Demon Blood" won't go down. A Blade Dancer using Spinning Storm are forced to save their Wind Slash to put them in Draw Stance to be able to use Flicker and Wind Flash in order to remove all 10 stacks of Demon Blood, since skills like Breeze does not meet the mechanics' demand. To close the damage gap between Thundering Blade and Spinning Storm, additional damage could be added to Hurricane Slash. Many specializations received one key skill responsible for either outputting very high damage (e.g. Blade Dancer's Fatal Blade) or providing a status effect able to drastically increase damage during the effect duration (e.g. Kung Fu Master's Wind Gyre). Spinning Storm Blade Dancers did not receive such a damage amplifier, but the weird part is that it's there. Hurricane Slash is a new skill that ties into the DPS rotation very well with the help of the Wildborne Soul Badge, so it seems weird to not add a lot more damage to Hurricane Slash. Starbreaker Bracelet already provides Attack Power bonus to Hurricane Slash during Starbreaker effect, but it barely helps at all. It does 5% of my personal current parse damage, so there's a lot of opportunities to do something here. I'll add another post if there is anything else I can think of.
  19. Thank you PhoenixMitra! One more thing I forgot to mention: Raid consumables' (Excellent Elixir of Madness, Excellent Elixir of Protection, Excellent Elixir of Resilience, Roast Turkey, Strawberry Shortcake, Homemade Cookie) item description refers to Skybreak Spire as "Skybreak Spires".
  20. Nightfall Sanctuary displays the first boss encounter's zone as Peaceful Burial Chamber on the World Map and Chamber of Tranquility on the mini-map. Grand Celestial Emperor's buff bar displays Flamewave Circle as Flamewave Ring. The buff description also refers to it as Flamewave Ring. Martial Tome displays Blade Dancer's Way of the Spinning Storm as "Whistling Blade" and Way of the Thundering Blade as "Sparkling Blade". These names can be seen after opening the Martial Tome to the right, without selecting a talent. Thornbreaker Necklace and Darkstorm Necklace's Guide section uses different phrasing as well as different descriptions of the specializations. Dragonflame Jewel and Polished Scale Fragment's Acquired from section refers to Daily Challenge Dungeons as "Dungeon of the Day Daily Quests". The Elusive Merchant Exchange NPC for Scarlet Blooms features an incorrect name.
  21. I don't mean to be rude, but I understand people for kicking. Midnight Skypetal Plains is not as easy as it was at its launch, so some higher gear requirements can be expected. The gear you're describing is not far from what today is considered "story gear" - you receive the full Dragon King's Energy set, a choice between Riftwalk - Stage 3 and Dawnforged - Stage 3, and up to around level 60, HM14. With that in mind, I'd suggest participating in easier content. Daily Challenge always includes easier quests like Celestial Basin, Mushin's Tower - 20th Floor, Naryu Sanctum, Irontech Forge, you name it.
  22. On the 15th of May when Scarlet Tears goes live, we'll be able to fuse the Liberty Soul Badge and the Songbird Soul Badge into one of two fuses: the War Song and the Wildborne. Does that mean we'll be able to swap the new fused Soul Badges back and forth at Dragon Trade Union Junsorei, as with older Soul Badges? Or will we have to get both "pink" badges individually to fuse? Thanks in advance.
  23. Why would anyone buy the previous Tower of Infinity tokens from F5 when they can't be used for the Victory Soul Badges (unless exchanged for additional costs)? Why does previous events matter when those events have ended? Why do you bring up that certain Soul Badges can be farmed from Celestial Basin and Mushin's Tower when those Soul Badges don't include the Victory badges? Moon Refuge doesn't offer any Soul Badges, so I don't even know why you bring that up. As for your final way of getting the Badges - my question to Baskerville was regarding why the Victory Tokens aren't tradable. It's a major detraction and exception to what Bloodlust and NCWEST has been doing since the launch of Tower of Infinity, so I simply wanted to know the reasoning behind the decision. Whether or not you can technically acquire the tokens in order to purchase the Genesis and Allegiance Soul Badges doesn't matter at all, so what you're responding is completely redundant. I've seen posts about you, Grimoir, acting like a white knight on the forums, so to calm you down: I'm not attacking NCWEST for not making the Victory Tokens tradable. I'm simply wondering what their reason was. If a question to the publisher is enough to get you annoyed, perhaps you should take a break from the game.
  24. Could you explain the development team's reasoning for not making Victory Tokens tradable? Without being able to purchase the corresponding Soul Badges with Solar Energies or from buying Victory Tokens from the Marketplace, it stops anyone from being able to get those Soul Badges if they weren't participating in the Tower of Infinity - Season of Victory.
  25. I believe the reason for having it disabled is due to the different servers varying economics, but since there's only one server per region now, there's no point of having the system remain in the game. Thanks for the response Baskerville! Let's hope it's possible.
