  1. You don’t need to reset your PC. It’s just a fault of the game being old. The engine transition would fix issues like these if implemented properly. CTRL+F and CTRL+G would help the most.
  2. Boss 1 of ET is the worst FPS offender of them all. My group suffered freezes multiple times where we wiped just cause of it. There’s not much to do about it. Apart from mods, make sure all party members uses Hongmoon Uniform and that all have disabled skill skins (as in the Snowflake one, for example). Also, while I don’t know which, Soul Fighters have a certain skill that can cause FPS freezes. We got them on the day that we recruited a SF into the group and another member confirmed his SF alt caused the same issue in TT. Might want to check if there are fixes for that, I have no clue.
  3. Gunslinger's Character Info has an incorrect name for the class (how did you name that class wrong but got ZEN Archer right :pensive: ) The Peacekeeper in the Hongmoon Training Room has an incorrect name when spawning and respawning the boss On that note, the actual Peacekeeper encounter is still missing a blank in one of the messages. See previous posts for which message.
  4. I'd like to take this moment to congratulate you on the latest addition to NCWEST's collection of miscommunications and misinformation. Well done.
  5. Similar issues to those presented with the launch of Storm of Arrows are seen here. Incorrect information and a lacking QA Team lets large issues slip into the live version of the game. I'm sure you yourself notice that the cost "reductions" are far from reductions, but are in most places giant increases. Believe me Cyan, the last thing this game needs right now is its remaining playerbase to feel distrust and dishonesty from your team. A ton of things in this game has gone downhill since the original Blade & Soul team left, most notably with Jonathan Lien leaving. At this point, I have to wonder if the current team is even competent enough to be dealing with a game like this. You, Linda, and other CMs seem great, but honestly? It seems to me like most of your team aren't nearly involved enough. I can't help but think a huge part of the failure of the western Blade & Soul version is due to the team you're representing. You're not dealing with a small mobile game from India, you're not dealing with a small community, and you yourself are not a small indie company. You have no business letting repeated mistakes like these make it to your players in the live version of the game.
  6. I would assume that would be the best option, yeah. Applying the ID lock as soon as the Zakhan ripoff or Tokan is killed. I'm just wondering when we'll actually see it implemented in the game. As far as I've heard, anyone abusing the raid for mulitple sell runs are getting some sort of penalty, but we haven't heard a thing about it since. It seems a lot easier to apply a lock from killing one of the two minibosses rather than having to track down the raids abusing it.
  7. Around two months ago, @Cyan confirmed the team was aware of players exploiting the first boss encounter in Scarlet Conservatory by leaving the alliance just before the boss is dead to avoid being locked in order to then have one or a few people stay to sell the Thornbreaker/Groundbreaker/Escalation Mystic Badge among other items. Cyan also mentioned it would be fixed in a coming update. Here's the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/bladeandsoul/comments/co2ed6/et_boss_1_exploit_will_be_patched_or_not/ewg6se9?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x Did it ever receive a fix? If not, can we expect it soon? Thanks in advance.
  8. Party Mode and Dungeon Lobby has an incorrect name for Easy On that note, both the Party Mode and Dungeon Lobby still features Normal as an option. Might want to remove that since it no longer has any use.
  9. That was a good read. Thanks for sharing! I agree with you, I really don't like Valve's business, but I also can't deny that it might be good for B&S -- assuming it would work the same way as Black Desert's website and Steam version where it's connected via the same server. It could provide a much needed influx of players.
  10. Yeah, exactly. I can sort of live with that sort of drop rate from event chests where there's guaranteed currency involved, but in this case, the drop rate for both cosmetics and Awakened Ascension Stones need some huge adjustment.
  11. And out of my own 10x Scarlet Empress clears, we've gotten a grand total of zero cosmetic drops. Something tells me your raid is the exception - not the majority.
  12. It seems like most raids are yet to see any Awakened Ascension Stones drops from Scarlet Empress in the Scarlet Conservatory raid. Since the Ascension and Radiance Stones are locked behind a daily lockout system (Cold Storage and Heaven's Mandate), could we see some substantial increases for the chance of receiving Awakened Ascension Stones from Scarlet Empress - or better yet, other PvE content as well? I understand you might want to keep this as what you like to call a "long-term upgrade" by limiting the supply, but it really just feels like a bunch of pay-to-win since you added the Ascension/Radiance Stones to the Hongmoon Store. It's such a smack in the face to people like me who F2P'd by grinding enough to have gear for the latest content like ET1-3 only to be cucked by daily lockouts from dungeons like Heaven's Mandate and Cold Storage. That sort of thing is completely out of my control unless I charge NCoin. Please make Ascension Stones and Radiance Stones more accessible. The entire Unity system was such a good idea that you ruined entirely -- but at least try to salvage it.
  13. These are based on the patch notes from Korea's update on the 25th of September. Find the article here: http://bns.plaync.com/news/updateall/article/7293 tl;dr it's impossible to die, tt confirmed dead content Gangshi/Tongshi Keeper's Gaze will no longer cause instant death Lunge (range-check) will no longer cause an AoE if the target moves too far away Peacekeeper Disturb Composure will no longer cause instant death. Not removing all stacks or removing more than needed will instead apply damage and a certain status effect depending on the remaining stacks. The status effect Split Soul has been removed Soul Disintegration is therefore no longer needed to obtain Destructive Barriers. Soul Shackle will no longer be increased at the 50% HP threshold The targeted player will no longer be killed when failing the Doom mechanic Scorptamaton Reduced attack damage The 35% phase has been adjusted to be the same as the 65% phase The targeted player will no longer be killed but take damage if Scorptamaton absorbs a player not affected by Heatwave The boss's HP recovery upon absorbing a target without Heatwave has been reduced Changed Flame and Heatwave to apply damage upon expiration rather than instant death Wedge Flame no longer applies knockback Wedge Flame no longer applies damage when there are players sharing it Increased the duration of Heatwave Grand Celestial Emperor Target with Submission can now attack during the effect's duration Explosion Shock (range-check) has been changed from instant death to apply damage Flamewave Circle no longer applies instant death in all mechanic failure scenarios Overlapping Blinding Storms and Fallen Storms no longer enrages the boss Blinding Power Trace and Fallen Soul Trace will no longer be given to designated targets. Instead, the effect will be given to the target who first steps on each Flamewave Region. Reduced the Flamewave Region gauge recharge
  14. Thanks for the update Cyan. I'm really happy to see you continuing to work with the development in bringing changes as soon as possible, rather than waiting until the next major update.
  15. The patch itself is obviously not the community managers fault. I may be pretty stupid overall, but I'm not brain dead. My previous post was directed to the CMs for repeatedly failing at their job -- I'm not asking them to magically fix the patch. I also definitely don't agree with the CMs merely complying to what their higher-ups are telling them to say. People like PhoenixMitra are most likely both educated and experienced with different aspects of communication that other team members at NCWEST likely aren't. What I tried to convey in my original post is that it would probably be better to try to resonate with the community by writing posts the way Baskerville did here (https://forums.bladeandsoul.com/topic/245953-game-is-worse-because-have-a-lot-of-freezes-and-fps-drops/?do=findComment&comment=2064964). In just this post, Baskerville successfully conveyed that we are being listened to, that they're is sorry we're not able to enjoy Blade & Soul as they want us to, and that they're doing their best to find a solution. By the way, if anyone from the NCWEST team is reading this - please bribe Baskerville to return. :( That's something that PhoenixMitra could have done. Their post went up 22 hours ago - a time where they likely knew of the dungeon difficulty changes coming up - and rather than doing what Baskerville did, we get a halfassed warning to follow the Code of Conduct cause mentioning their company name is bad. It's a terrible way to make sure the community feels listened to and respected.
  16. I don't mean to question your methods, but while there's a raging community sparking hatred toward both your game and your company, shouldn't you be addressing the issues from the Storm of Arrows update as much as possible rather than pathetically changing someone's post title? When Bethany Stout left the NCWEST team, she afterwards mentioned on her Twitch that the Blade & Soul community was one of the most toxic communities she had encountered -- and maybe that's entirely the fault of you CMs. Maybe you should post a public apology regarding all the issues we've had and try to get on people's best side? Some of the most influencial content creators for this game posted rants in both text and video form regarding how bad the game is, and this is what you focus on? Stop wasting time on pointless ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ like someone mentioning your company in a post. I can't help but giggle at how incompetent you all seem.
  17. Completely untrue. Omeed was our Community Director meaning his influence was limited, and he was the exact person who promised things like Blade & Soul west being entirely its own game, how the localization team would remain faithful to the original Korean theme and how there would be zero censoring. Those promises failed right from the start. Omeed said what we wanted to hear - not what NCWEST were going to deliver.
  18. Fair point. Tencent is a horrible publisher when it comes to pay to win, but they do understand the game and can therefore make more drastic changes to their own game. I'm very confident in the fact that Team Bloodlust doesn't lose money by continuing the western Blade & Soul version, but you're right. Korea and China's servers makes a ton more money than our does, especially now considering how many people is quitting. Lock a new equipment piece behind a weekly lockout raid, having it take 3-6 months + put Raid Reset Charms on Hongmoon Store = profit. Because of that, I haven't touched the new dungeon, nor did my raid group. What's the point doing Cathedra Cliffs if we have to wait so long on some trash raid that no one enjoys doing in the first place?
  19. This game at its current state is a load of garbage and everyone associated in the production of Blade & Soul is to blame. I can't believe that Bloodlust doesn't know the difference themselves between Easy and Normal Mode, and I can't believe that not a single person from NCWEST's QA team realized that something was off. Naturally, all that you say is that you'll investigate it. If we're lucky, maybe we'll see it fixed in two years like the Friends List and EU's Character Info. Meanwhile, the game's population numbers are in heavy decline, and rather than pushing the Storm of Arrows update out with as much polish as you could possibly put in -- maybe include actual features and adjustments that the community asked for, and put the update on every single available advertisement spot there is, you instead manage to break the forums, put out more restrictive content (looking at you, Throne of Oblivion), make the most commonly done activity in the game (Daily Challenge) worse than it previously was, and add more pay to win elements to the Hongmoon Store. I've been actively farming for my characters the past 2 years and I've kept myself up to date on this game since the very launch, but you are really starting to tire me the hell out. Not a single promise that you made before the launch has been kept. Despite the fact that I haven't touched the game outside of ET (Scarlet Conservatory if you incompetent CMs need a translation) since the middle of the Hae Mujin's Outlaw Arena event, I keep actively looking on the Blade & Soul subreddit and the DevTracker on the official forums for just a hint of hope regarding the future of the game, but since Baskerville left, there's nothing. All I see from you at NCW is responses like "Please contact CS for more assistance" and answers to the most basic player questions there are. Since NCW is awfully powerless to change things in the game, maybe that's the cause of the state of the game, but since we don't know the background process, what are we meant to do but direct the blame toward all companies involved? I have no idea if NCW is fulfilling their promise as publishers to "monitor the progress of the developer, critique ongoing development, and assist as necessary" or not. Maybe they are, but assuming NCWEST reports to NCSOFT who then relays the information to Bloodlust, it might just as well be an organization issue at NCSOFT. Maybe it's also NCSOFT who practically owns NCW forcing them to continue inimical business practices despite player feedback. And again - maybe NCSOFT has nothing to do with it either, but Bloodlust is the actual factor to blame. Whatever it is, the entire production of this game is chaotic. Your promise to make the western version of the game unique to other regions was a blatant lie. It was said to entice players to play the game and have them believe the companies working on the game wanted what was best for the community. In reality, the entire game is scuffed and is produced with the barest minimum of effort from all parts. At this point, I truly hope that the European Union follows the Belgian Gaming Commission's lead and bans purchases of items in games that are random in nature. Free to play or not, I really don't care nor do I want to keep propping up bad habits like gambling from idiotic corporations. Let the idiots running this game on all fronts fold and force them to find a new consumer friendly monetization paradigm that doesn't encourage game designs intended to be addictive and toxic as a way to increase quarterly revenue.
  20. Jesus, guys. You'll survive not being "prepared" for one day. How can you say you have outside lives when you're crying about not knowing the Daily Challenge list when they inform us like, 18 hours before the maintenance even starts?
  21. It's happened to plenty of people. It's not your fault - the launcher is just stupid. Seems to be a common trend in NCW products.
  22. Meant to quote this in my post above, but forgot. Try sending a ticket to the CS team explaining the circumstance, because it's very unlikely we'll see compensation for those who already upgraded considering how old the Divinity/Starbreaker/Battalion Bracelet is.
  23. Definitely true what you said about the Martial Tome, just speaking functionality wise it was way easier. I meant more that it was visually nicer. What I don't think is true at all is that the UI is fine once you scale and move it around. My own UI is almost at its smallest and has been for a long time, and I've done my utmost to move things around to make it the least imposing on my screen as possible, but I can only do so much. Most UI elements are obnoxiously intrusive. My only hope right now is that they pull something like Pearl Abyss did and remade most UI components with their Remaster.
  24. Seeing NCW's trackrecord that's absolutely true, but considering how the community managers play this game (in which I mean barely at all), I think they agree with us that the game has way too much grind. I doubt they'd allow these changes if they were more in charge.
  25. Next time you at NCWEST publish a game, please make sure its a contract more based on acquisition so we aren't shoved Pet Aura Gems, Awakened Ascension/Radiance Stones, and a new Pet Aura tier down our throats. No one in the western region would ever want this and I can't imagine anyone at NCWEST thinking adding these "features" would be beneficial for the game.
